We have a 2br, 1ba unit available.
The background check is paid for by all applicants over 18 years old(49.99 before tax, an email is sent to your email and you do the rest including paying before i can see)
This unit is a 2 story barn, with the bedrooms upstairs. Converted into a full living unit, it is furnished with a full tub, oven range and fridge, as well as a 1 car carport. There is a washer and dryer installed in unit. Being as this is on a farm, there will be loud noises, heavy equipment, critters, and all around farm business. The unit has a small unfenced yard area, and additional parking for 3 more vehicles comfortably. Power and garbage are renters responsiblity. Water starts at 50a month due with rent. Cats are fine, NO dogs due to it being a poultry farm, with approval with a refundable deposit of 500$. Comcast is available in the area for internet and phone. First and last are required, plus deposit. Rent is 1100with the occasional ability to work off a portion of the rent, not to exceed 1/2 total rent (550$) at a set hourly rate of 15per hour, or 36.5 hours (when available as farms have down times so not every month will have extra jobs) each month. Deposit is 1100$. Total move in costs not including pets is 3300$, pet deposit is 500additional with approval.
This would be fantastic for someone or a couple looking to pay a portion of rent and get farm experience on a working farm while they figure out if farming is for them. Although kids are definitely fine and welcome (we have 5 ourselves) i will state, the bedrooms being upstairs, the fact that big equipment are used and stored and other farm aspects of life(and the circle of life and death) might not be a fit for ALL kiddos.
Additional space might be available for rented use for projects you may have from gardening to critters, but we do use our land, so its not guaranteed to be as large as you may want/need and the bigger the space the more the rental costs for additional space will be.
