This mountain cabin is located in the much sought after area of Big River Ranch which is between South Fork, CO and Creede, CO. Big River Ranch is on the Rio Grande River and offers property owners in Big River Ranch river private access to the Rio Grande River. This area has nice mature Aspen and Spruce trees with the surrounding mountains all around you. Big River Ranch also offers an playground and a community pavilion. The original cabin was built in 1938 and has a kitchen-sleeping area and attached bathroom. This part of the cabin is separate and has a separate entrance. The cabin was added onto in 2001 and offers two bedrooms and two bathrooms with a kitchen, dinning area and living room. The large back deck offers a great area to relax and take in the views. There is an additional building that has had some remodeling done that could be an additional buck room or sleeping area. The large shed on the property is great for extra storage. The cabin is on Big River Ranch water and sewer. Big River Ranch opens May 15 until October 15 each year. Short term rentals are not allowed since it is a gated community. Escape the heat of the city and come to the mountains of Southern Colorado. Great gold-medal water fishing, hiking, rafting and ATV-ing.
