W Clay Ave
This is a safe inner-city neighborhood that is mostly residential (mix of families and young people/students) but with businesses mixed in. Old homes are being torn down to build luxury apartments and historic preservation is sadly missing. Don't expect a high-end manicured residential area. NAU is a couple of blocks away as is Route 66 and a row of mid-century motels. The house is in the oldest part of town which pre-dates Downtown. There is a community ballpark half way down the street. At the beginning of our street you'll find Natural Grocers, Haven Montessori School, Matador Coffee and nearby Barnes and Noble.
