The ideal candidate for this situation would be someone who:
1. Doesn't mind me doing my thing on the property and utilizing the back car port for storing and using for small
building projects. (Shade is limited and of value in the summer). Probably mostly in the daytime hours.
2. looking for something temporary (3 months).
3. Mindful about energy use. This is a requirement since I am paying utilities. If you can't turn off lights no need to apply.
No heavy drug/alcohol use.
No smoking inside.
In addition, I am also open to the idea of SOME work trade in exchange for reduced rent. At the most perhaps a few hundred off rent per month. This could be help in remodeling the place, gardening, watering, etc. So the more skills you have, the more you can help me with, the more I can reduce your rent. Irrigation, Fence/wall building, concrete work is a plus.
I am wanting to make the place self sufficient and as eco/green as possible with a focus on creating a food. (fruit trees, greenhouse, gardens). Any experience with permaculture, cob building, rainwater harvesting is a plus and if we hit it off there is potential for this being a long term lease and other living opportunities on the land as it gets developed.
